USEFUL TERMS
Upgrade terms.
- CCU / upgrade chain
- A Cross-Chassis Upgrade (CCU) changes your ship to one with a higher upgrade value. A chain uses several CCUs. Buy them, then apply them in your RSI hangar.
- Warbond
- Requires new cash. Store credit cannot cover Warbond purchases; the route shows their cash cost separately.
- Store credit
- Your RSI account credit, used for eligible standard offers. Enter it separately from your cash budget.
- Insurance / LTI
- LTI means Lifetime Insurance. Routes use your base pledge’s coverage and any insurance an offer explicitly adds. Confirm coverage on RSI.

Using Hangar Route.
How do I add my ships?
Select I already own a ship, choose your ship and add any unused upgrades. Review quantities, insurance, costs and personal-use eligibility in Review your inventory.
Use Save inventory locally to keep it on this device. Export an inventory file to back it up, then use Load inventory file to restore it.
What do the different costs mean?
New cash is the money needed now. Store credit used pays for eligible purchases. Total invested cost includes original costs for owned items used in the route. Missing original costs leave this total unknown.
Upgrade value, purchase cost and the whole pledge’s melt value are separate. Add known costs for a fuller comparison. Tax is estimated; amounts are in USD.
How should I read the buying advice?
The offer check explains whether an offer saves cash or makes a route possible. An affordable route can still show No demonstrated cash saving. Cannot verify means the offers or inventory need review.
Check the snapshot date and status, and apply offer updates before relying on a route. The planner does not predict future prices or discounts.
Why am I not seeing a usable route?
Choose a target and budget, then check your starting ship, minimum insurance and upgrade endpoints. Review any missing insurance or personal-use eligibility.
Try another target or adjust your limits. Watch candidates show possible future steps; they are incomplete and give no buying recommendation.
Where are my plans saved, and what can I share?
Plans and inventory are saved separately in this browser. Other browsers and devices won’t have those copies. Clearing site data removes them.
Share links include route ships, steps, costs, insurance and the snapshot date, but leave out your full inventory and budget. You can also copy a summary. Inventory and decision exports include personal details; check them before sharing.
Does Hangar Route buy or apply upgrades for me?
You buy and apply upgrades on RSI. Hangar Route compares routes and tracks the steps.
Check insurance, personal-use eligibility, gifting and game-access protection on RSI before using a pledge. Package contents stay linked to the whole pledge; its restrictions still apply.
